Review:
Our new Kamen Rider Faiz toy is very special because not only is it a figure, but it's a model kit as well. We're a big fan of gunpla so it was a lot of fun buidling this model. It has great articulation compared to action figures. But just like your average plastic model, the arms and legs are connected by ball joint so they tend to fall off easily upon movement.
Most of the details are composed of stickers. That's to be expected since a model kit won't be complete without it. It actually looks good because you can't even tell that it's a sticker when applied properly. For extra details, I made use of black, grey and red markers to make him look better.
Accessories include his Faiz Edge, Pointer, Phone, Axel Watch, replaceable hands and a few extra items. As a bonus, the model came with a display stand an effect part for the rider kick. It's a big advantage for the kit to have the rider kick effect part because it's rare for a Faiz figure to have this kind of effect. I guess the only thing missing on the kit is the Smart Brain suitcase.
Overall, it's a great experience building the Figure-Rise 6 Kamen Rider Faiz model kit. Nothing beats the fun out of building your own figure. It's like having a Gunpla and SH Figuarts for the price of one. So yes, this model kit is worth getting. Whether your a fan of Kamen Rider of model kits, you'll definitely enjoy this one.
A separate Kamen Rider Faiz Axel Form was released as well. Alternatively, you can customize the basic Faiz plastic model into Axel form by adding some grey highlights.
