Review: Final Form Ride No.4 - Kamen Rider Faiz Blaster

Review:
Alright time for another Faiz figure review. This time we'll be talking about the Faiz Blaster from the FFR series. The main purpose of this figure is for Faiz to become Decade's weapon by turning into a large cannon. Yup, just like a transformer toy. At first you'll think it's a normal figure, but you'll see the big difference once you look into the side or back. It will seem like Faiz is carrying a backpack with thrusters on the legs.

Included in the box is a hologram Faiz Blaster Card that can be used on the DecaDriver belt. The accessories is composed of the SmartBrain suit case, Faiz Phone, Edge, Pointer and 2 Large Pointers. I really like the gimmick they made on the suitcase. It serve as a prop and the same time a stand for the Faiz Blaster. Too bad you can't put anything inside. The Faiz Phone is set to gun mode while the Faiz Edge is made of plastic rubber. The Faiz Pointer can only be attached on the right side of the belt and not on the right leg. I also noticed there's a Faiz Shot designed on the left side of the belt as well. He also has 2 Large Faiz Pointers for the arms. They actually look like tonfas with the Faiz Shot and Pointer combined. Take note that you'll only see this accessory with the FFR series.

Now let's proceed to the main feature of the figure which is the Blaster transformation. It's really easy to change his mode. You'll just need to make him flat with the legs attached together and flip over the blaster parts from the back. Then pull out the handle from the chest and switch over the arms to the back with the Large Faiz Pointers. Just place it over the suitcase and it's ready for firing. All that's missing now is a Decade figure to pull the trigger.

Articulation is very basic with straight forward body movements. It's really limited so don't expect to perform all of Faiz's trademark poses. Arms and legs can move up and down with the forearm and feet capable of turning 360 degrees. The waist can twist but is unable to lean forward and back. The hands are set for gripping and I like it very much because it tightly holds the accessories.

Overall, this is one of the best figure you'll get from the FFR series in terms of feature and accessory. It may lack details and articulation, but it did fulfilled it's purpose of becoming a blaster cannon. It's a unique figure and definitely worth getting for your collection. Well that's about it for the Faiz Blaster. I hope you enjoyed the pictures and review. Thanks for viewing and look out for more kamen rider posts.
