Review:
Just got another vintage toy of Kamen Rider Faiz. This one is special because it's a set that includes Auto Vajin. Let's talk about the Faiz figure first. His equipment comes with the Faiz Edge, Pointer, Shot and Phone (gun mode). The Faiz Shot is stored on the side of the belt using a separate holder. It's a unique feature for the RHF Faiz but looks kind of bulky. Nothing special about the Faiz Pointer. It's still the same accessory that can be placed on the side of the belt or right leg. On the other hand, the Faiz Phone is already setup into gun mode. So no flipping feature here. I don't like how the Faiz Edge being made of plastic rubber because it's always bended and hard to straighten out. Another unique feature about it is you can also attach it to the side of the belt.
Articulation is poor on this figure. Arms and legs can only move up and down. There are no side way and hip movement. The whole thing practically looks like a stick figure. Although it has strong gripping hands. It can tightly hold any of it's equipment. Details are not so good as well. It's missing important designs such as the Faiz symbol. The backside is also ugly with the screws exposed.
Now let's move on to his robot sidekick. The Auto Vajin has the ability to transform into battle or vehicle mode. The designs are great on this one. But too bad the articulation is poor. During battle mode the arms and legs can only move to a certain degree. Aside from that no other movements are available. It make use of it's front wheel as a shield. Transforming it into vehicle mode is quite tricky. But it looks great once turned into a bike. Although the Faiz figure has difficulty sitting on it. So you'll need to move it around until you get the appropriate postion.
Overall, the Super RHF Kamen Rider Faiz and Auto Vajin. isn't that bad as I expected. It's true that both design and articulation are lacking. But the features make up for it. Not to mention it's not that often you'll find a 2 in 1 set of Faiz and Auto Vajin. So I would still give it a high score and put it in the worth buying category.
